This winter, Six Senses Crans-Montana enters a fresh culinary chapter, introducing two reimagined dining experiences that celebrate authenticity, creativity, and craftsmanship. The resort’s signature Japanese restaurant, Byakko, has reopened after an extensive redesign, revealing a softer yet vibrant new look. Under the direction of Executive Chef Yukta Ghale, Byakko now offers a refined interpretation of Japanese cuisine, rooted in precision, seasonality, and respect for tradition.

Launching in early December 2025, the all-new Ora Bar & Lounge is set to become the resort’s lively social heart. Guests can look forward to cocktails and mocktails crafted with locally sourced ingredients, complemented by curated DJ sets, live performances, and an atmosphere that captures the spirit of Crans-Montana.

“Our vision has always centered on culinary excellence, which is why we’re elevating our signature dining experiences with the talent and creativity of our team,” says General Manager Jean-Yves Blatt. “We aim to offer cuisine that is lively, authentic, and sophisticated.” The resort’s shared-dining venue, Wild Cabin, introduced in summer 2025, has already become a guest favorite.

Byakko represents a thoughtful evolution of the resort’s culinary identity. Guided by Chef Yukta, the menu brings together classic Japanese techniques with contemporary accents. Seasonal ingredients, sourced with care and respect-shine in delicate sashimi, slow-simmered broths, and charcoal-grilled specialties. The redesigned interior, serene and minimalist, features natural materials and subtle details that create an atmosphere of calm, elegance, and connection to nature.

Ora Bar & Lounge: A Fresh Alpine Gathering Place

Opening in December 2025, Ora Bar & Lounge introduces a warm, spirited energy to the resort. The expanded and redesigned space offers sweeping alpine views and an inviting ambiance perfect for après-ski cocktails, relaxed evenings with friends, or a lively night out. Drinks are crafted from regional ingredients sourced within 100 miles, paired with elevated small plates. Guest DJs, curated playlists, and a dedicated cigar-and-cognac lounge add layers of sophistication. Ora promises memorable moments from day to night.
